Women Interactive has ended
Women Interactive is a creative technology festival for women with a special focus on women of color who produce and share media content taking place in the Cosby Building at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia on October 13, 2012. In keeping with the fast paced nature of technology, the WI Festival will allow college students, collegiate faculty, technology and media professionals and enthusiasts the opportunity to interact with innovative technology by following the three pillars on which the festival is based: Interaction, Education and Inspiration. The three pillars are exemplified through three festival tracks: Creating Content, Sharing Content and Monetizing Creativity.

Through Karen, Charity turns real-life tears into relatable punch lines that uncover some of women’s silliest, secretive pressures they place upon themselves and others.  Charity Jordan has a passion for youth, education, and the arts.  She is a mother, wife, caregiver, artist, and humanitarian. Charity received her M.A. School Counseling, Concentration: Elementary School and B.A.: Sociology, Concentration: Family & Life Studies from Georgia State University.  Mrs. Jordan has over 10yrs of experience in youth development and the performing arts.  Charity Jordan has a passion for youth, education, and the arts.  Like the main character, doing this groundbreaking comedy journal, which  details the highs, lows and poopy diapers of being a new Mom has been therapeutic for Charity.  She explains, “We’re trying to give a parents a change to be empowered through laughter by watching a “realistic” perspective of parenthood for the first time on-line.”
