Stacy Epps is unique in her success in the two realms of the law and the arts. Stacy Epps is an
entertainment attorney, an artist/musician and an instructor of music business, who is distinctly
attuned to the needs of artists and creative professionals. These two worlds blend perfectly for Stacy Epps in her need for balance in using her intellectual and artistic side. Stacy Epps earned her Bachelor of Arts with high distinction in Sociology and African American Studies from the University of Virginia and her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California where she focused on entertainment law. While at USC Law, Stacy served as President of the Black Law Students Association and the Entertainment Law Society. She also studied abroad for six weeks in South Africa at the University of the Western Cape Law School, where she studied South African Constitutional Law.

Upon graduation, Stacy Epps, worked on her music and business full time. This culminated in the release of Stacy’s album “The Awakening” via her own imprint Japanubia Musik, LLC. She toured around the world sharing her message of love, light and healing with the people. She also handled all of the business aspects in relation to this release. Stacy also worked with a boutique entertainment law firm, whom she still currently consults with. Stacy then started her own firm, Epps Harrell, LLC that is dedicated to servicing the needs of very selective clients whose art she truly believes in. Stacy’s practice focuses on entertainment transactions including drafting and negotiating producer and artist deals, intellectual property issues related to trademarks and copyrights, publishing and licensing issues particularly related to music.

Stacy has a passion of sharing her knowledge and experience with the younger generations. She is able to do this through her position as an adjunct faculty member of music business at the Art Institute of Atlanta. Stacy is currently a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Entertainment and Sports Bar Section and the American Bar Association.
